About Probate Pathway

The Probate Operating System Built by Attorneys, For Attorneys

At Probate Pathway, we believe probate doesn’t have to feel chaotic, unpredictable, or overwhelming for your clients or your firm.

Probate Pathway was built inside of Lawvex, a real California law firm, after nearly two decades of hands-on probate work. Over 19 years, the Lawvex team completed 665+ probate matters and distributed over $65 million in inheritance, learning the hard way where cases slow down, where teams get stuck, and where firms lose time, money, and sanity.

Out of those lessons came something different:

A complete probate operating system.

Not theory. Not law school lectures.

But a step-by-step framework for how probate actually gets done—profitably and consistently.

We’re not a law firm. We’re the system behind firms that want probate to run better.

And we exist to help attorneys and their teams build a more efficient, scalable, and less stressful probate practice.

Our Mission

At Probate Pathway, our mission is simple:

to turn probate from a reactive, frustrating practice area into a clear, repeatable, and efficient system that firms can rely on. We focus on helping attorneys reduce delays and bottlenecks, set better client expectations, train staff faster and with confidence, and close cases more predictably and profitably. Probate shouldn’t feel like reinventing the wheel on every file. Our mission is to give firms a proven pathway—from intake to file closure—that works in the real world.

Who We Are

We serve probate and estate planning attorneys who are:

1. Ready to run probate like a system—not a series of emergencies.

2. Frustrated by long timelines, dropped balls, and constant follow-ups.

3. Committed to delivering a calm, professional experience for families.

4. Looking to grow probate without burning out or micromanaging every task.

Whether you’re a solo attorney or a small-to-mid-sized firm, Probate Pathway gives you the exact workflows, checklists, and implementation guidance needed to take control of your probate caseload.

This system is also built for support staff, paralegals, and operations leaders, so the firm doesn’t rely on one person holding everything together.

What Makes Probate Pathway Different?

Unlike traditional CLEs, generic practice management courses, or one-off templates, Probate Pathway is an end-to-end operating system designed for implementation.

Why We Built Probate Pathway

We saw too many good attorneys struggling—not because they didn’t know the law, but because they lacked systems.

Cases dragged on.

Clients were confused.

Staff needed constant guidance.

And probate felt harder than it needed to be.

So we built the system we wished we had years ago:

A stage-by-stage probate framework from intake through closing

Downloadable checklists, task lists, and timing guidance

Clear processes for setting expectations and managing family dynamics

A shared operating language that attorneys and staff can follow together

A community of like-minded probate attorneys ready to grow, support, and succeed together

Probate Pathway exists so firms can stop reacting—and start running probate with confidence.
